Roxby Downs Area School Parents and Friends Association had a huge success with its fashion parade on Friday night.
Four men and eight women teachers from the school donated their time for the evening.
Three year five students participated in order to model childrens' clothes.
The event sold out with more than 100 people attending.
"It was a fabulous night,” member Petra Noble said.
The committee has announced that about $3330 was raised.
"It was an outstanding job done by all those involved in the organisation of the event,” Mrs Noble said.
"We should all be very proud of ourselves,” committee chairperson Jenny Longmire said.
“It was highest amount ever raised for a single fund raising event in the history of the Parents and Friends Association.
“We are using some of the money for buying resources for the school's special education program and the rest will be put back into other student programs.
"The teachers made the night very special.
“And we also had our very own paparazzi in the form of photographer John Warneke.”
BHP Billiton donated a $500 SA Great holiday voucher and Alliance Air donated two return tickets to Adelaide as a prize.
Other prizes included 10 fitness classes and fashion clothing.
Local businesses donated hand bags and jewellery for the models to wear.
A local salon did the hair and make up for all the models.
